Living Life on Mission

One thing I learned at training camp last August was this thing called “living life on mission.” It’s all about our mindset in how we are living life. How we can live missionally, and should live missionally, exactly where we are at, no matter where that is.

These last 7 months on the field, I’ve learned about living missionally to an extent. I gained a mission outlook, but doing ministry, it was always “Okay, time for ministry” or “okay, time for life.” I could never intertwine the two, and I greatly believe that they should be intertwined.

Being in Uzhhorod, Ukraine, even for only 3 days, I have learned what living mission minded exactly is. This month I am able to experience a culture that is nothing like America and yet is similar at the same time. I am able to do things that I’d do back home, but the difference is that I can do it all with a mission outlook. Living life missionally. There’s no switch between ministry and life, it’s all the same.

I haven’t gotten this down pat yet, and I’m sure it will be a process I have to keep refocusing on, but it is one that I feel have finally connected with.

If you want to learn more about this mission mindset feel free to shoot me an email!

Till Next Time,

Kara
